So how can you improve your reading section? You can only improve your reading section through repeated practice. You must focus on skimming and scanning. When you skim, you strategically read different parts of the text to get the gist of the topic. Scanning involves looking for the keywords. You can follow this part for success!
1. Spend about 3-4 minutes carefully skimming the text. During skimming underlines the important words and one which needs more focus. Try to get an idea from that passage as you skim.
2. After scanning, answer questions by scanning. This is challenging. This part is time-consuming as a scan for answers in a text is more than 800 words.
You must also remember, you must not answer questions in sequence, as some of the questions are easy to attempt therefore you must answer them first.
